Wedfolks X AndroidsinBoots Giveaway: Love in two different cities

We are here to share with you the full set of Wedfolks first giveaway campaign with AndroidsinBoots and Noel Chu Atelier earlier this year. In this series, photographer, Wilson Chua decided to "narrate" their love stories from a different point of view. An an angle that shows not only their happiness but also their struggles as a young couple living in 2 different cities (One in Hong Kong and the other in Shen Zhen). It unfolds a young love that is not easy. Mike, a budding actor strives hard to carve his name out in the industry. They first met each other while working in a British restaurant. On her first day of work, she knocked over a bottle of beer, so he secretly labeled her as a silly big sister. It was not love at first sight for them, but more of a slow and deep love. Shortly ... The best moment of us.

We are excited to share how History Studio did an amazing shoot for Queenie and Franklin's outdoor wedding. Carefully capturing every shot with natural light, the whole set was natural and absolutely heart warming. We adored how the bridesmaids gown had that beautiful hue of grey that matches the groomsmen and couple! The details of traditional elements of a Chinese wedding was shot intricately, with close ups of the tea ceremony and intimate moments. Having to choose the location at My Garden was a brilliant decision, from the gorgeous crystal detached house to the greenery. Everything was beautiful - from the unique furnishings, floral backdrop to wedding cake. It's also good to know that pets were allowed to join as well! It was indeed like a fairytale story and it was truly a heart fel... Read More...

Big day: Wedding on the junk boat

"Burcu & Ramon’s wedding was a real international affair, she’s Turkish and he’s Spanish and friends came from all over the world to celebrate this beautiful occasion.” - Jamie Ousby. The day started with bridal preparation at The Firm salon in Central. Grabbed a couple of spontaneous shots on the street and headed to the registry office at City Hall. Then they headed to Pomegranate in Wong Chuk Hang. This place is indeed a hidden gem! It was a private and cozy place that is known for its amazing European food. There was a large terrace for dancing, mingling and drinks. After food and drinks, the guests headed to the dance floor and had so much fun with Spanish and Turkish dancing, definitely an eye opener to see a blend of different cultures! Burcu and Ramon decided to show the... Read More...

Real Wedding: Dear pen pal

With technology these days, it is so easy and convenient to keep in touch via text and emails… But what is better than receiving a handwritten letter? The joy of opening a letter after a long wait was how Janet and Elvis’s love story started. These two have an incredible love story that began as teenagers, enduring through years of letter writing. They started becoming pen pals through a forum, and were sending handwritten letters back and forth. Two years later, they finally decided to meet. And there was no turning back for them, 7 years later, they tied the knot! Congratulations to Janet and Elvis! This fairytale love story definitely shows that true love will always find its way. Styled shoot: Wild and fearless

We are excited to share with your this set of gorgeous style shoot that would leave you inspired for the days to come. This particular set has so much to offer in terms of cinematography, personality and ambience as well as the aesthetic in natural beauty. Definitely an inspiring shoot in nature. “Wild and fearless, She is the Sun, She is the Wind, She is Love.” We loved how Promenade captured the youth and freshness in this set. With an cinematic touch, they were able to bring out the passionate and spontaneous moments. This was a simple style shoot with no flowers, or extravagant set, but within it’s own simplicity, the beauty naturally reveals itself. The feature’s personality oozing of elegance and flair, pulling off Summer's lilac’s gown in silk crepe de chine so flawle... Read More...

Bridal Portraits – a sneak peak before the big day!

Bridal portraits are slowly becoming popular between brides-to-be. From the moment I saw this shoot, we are convinced that bridal portrait shoots are definitely worth it! Usually about 2-3 months before the actual wedding, brides-to-be take this opportunity to do a “trial” for the makeup, head pieces, hair styles, gowns, florals and so on…Why wait till the big day to see all the pieces put together? Brides-to-be who opt to have bridal portraits would rather have a sneak peak of it, so they are still able to make changes prior to the wedding day itself! (You know how perfectionist brides-to-be are…) Also, it is a win-win situation for both the bride-to-be and photographer. Your photographer would learn which poses work best for you and what techniques to use to get the best quality pictu... Read More...

Prewedding – Jocelyn & BenBen

A long time ago, this gorgeous couple met on a blog and social networking platform, Xanga. For them, it has been a journey collective of memories and childhood times. Eight years ago, if not for Xanga they would not be here together as man and wife today. They invited Mary Ann Art and Photography to shoot for them, and the images were stunning. With soft and natural light, Mary Ann captured their love and joy so flawlessly, with a subtle touch of fairytale romance. They were dazzling from all the love, such a delicate moment to be captured. We cannot help but get to know these two lovebirds better, we did a short interview with them on their virtual love story that turn into reality. How did the both of you meet? J&B: “We were from the same middle school, but I don't think we ... Read More...
