Prewedding: Nostalgic moments of Joey and Ian

Joey and Ian met while studying in the UK, became friends, and before they realize, they have became each other's lifelong soulmate. This wedding series is unique and special to them because of the new additions they had to their family - their beloved Shibas! With a dreamy theme, Joey had a two piece gown Infini Love Bridal that we absolutely cannot take our eyes off! The both of them found solace in the dreamy mist and greenery, not to mention, this was taken a day before the intense typhoon 8. Under the magical lens of Daniel Yim Photography, every moment was captured with perfection through film. We loved how the images had a soft look yet glowy and ethereal touch. The beauty of film photography definitely adds to that timeless, nostalgic moment. Congratulations to the Joey and Ian,... Read More...

Prewedding: An Oriental touch of Marcus and Soso

Marcus and Soso met in a gallery. Marcus performed a magic trick for Soso and that's how the beautiful story started! Both of them love travelling and they have been to many places together since then. Marcus's proposal is one of the most epic one we have seen in awhile! It was such a well planned proposal. They were in Austria, near the snow capped mountains, had a dramatic storyline which involves Marcus jumping off a 3-storey balcony, something like you would see in an action movie. (no spoilers for now!) It was definitely a huge surprise for Soso. Marcus is particularly fond of Chinese culture, the bells and lanterns which brings significant meanings. This couple had tailor made Chinese Qipao and invited Singphotography to shoot a series of their Oriental wedding series. They had... Read More...

Prewedding: Being in love, being present with Samantha & John

Amee Cheung has a gift for capturing one's natural sweetness and has been one of the favorite styles amongst our editors. She has the magic to allow the couples to express themselves and not feel awkward in front of the camera. For many couples, they do not know how to position themselves or what to do in front of the camera. Perhaps Samantha & John's wedding photographs can give you a good reference! You do not need extravagant props, dramatic expressions. As long as both of you have immersed into the environment, enjoy each other's presence and live in the moment. Be real, be honest to yourself and each other. It would be a fun and relaxing experience for both the photographer and you! Honest moments like whispering to one another, running agains the wind...these could all be ... Read More...

Almost Facebook friends: Michelle + Rodney

The story of Michelle and Rodney is a special one. They met at a mutual friend's party in 2011, back then Rodney was single, Michelle was taken. They almost became friends on Facebook. He sent her a friend request, she didn't respond, so he withdrew the request. Then fate brought them together again, it was a joint birthday celebration for her and two other friends. Rodney came with the most beautiful cake ever - pink rose cake from Tony Wong Patisserie. Michelle went up to him and thanked him for it. - That was the first time they ever spoke to each other. And of course, they became friends on Facebook. He left an umbrella in the car became the perfect excuse to ask her out on a date. It didn't take long before they hit it off perfectly. The best moment of us.

We are excited to share how History Studio did an amazing shoot for Queenie and Franklin's outdoor wedding. Carefully capturing every shot with natural light, the whole set was natural and absolutely heart warming. We adored how the bridesmaids gown had that beautiful hue of grey that matches the groomsmen and couple! The details of traditional elements of a Chinese wedding was shot intricately, with close ups of the tea ceremony and intimate moments. Having to choose the location at My Garden was a brilliant decision, from the gorgeous crystal detached house to the greenery. Everything was beautiful - from the unique furnishings, floral backdrop to wedding cake. It's also good to know that pets were allowed to join as well! It was indeed like a fairytale story and it was truly a heart fel... Read More...

Big day: Wedding on the junk boat

"Burcu & Ramon’s wedding was a real international affair, she’s Turkish and he’s Spanish and friends came from all over the world to celebrate this beautiful occasion.” - Jamie Ousby. The day started with bridal preparation at The Firm salon in Central. Grabbed a couple of spontaneous shots on the street and headed to the registry office at City Hall. Then they headed to Pomegranate in Wong Chuk Hang. This place is indeed a hidden gem! It was a private and cozy place that is known for its amazing European food. There was a large terrace for dancing, mingling and drinks. After food and drinks, the guests headed to the dance floor and had so much fun with Spanish and Turkish dancing, definitely an eye opener to see a blend of different cultures! Burcu and Ramon decided to show the... Read More...
